Use one clear photo for each subject
Upload a separate, easy-to-understand image for every pet or person who should appear in the final artwork. Front-facing or slightly angled portraits usually provide the clearest facial information.
Prioritize eyes, face, and natural color
- Choose a well-lit photo with the eyes and full face visible.
- Use the original image when possible rather than a screenshot or heavily compressed copy.
- Avoid strong beauty filters, color effects, and shadows that hide markings.
- Make sure ears, distinctive fur patterns, and important features are not cut off.
Matching angles help, but are not required
Photos taken from similar eye levels and lighting conditions make multi-subject compositions easier. If your favorite images differ, send the clearest versions you have and explain your preferred arrangement in the creative notes.
Older and memorial photos are welcome
For a pet who has crossed the rainbow bridge, the best available photo is enough to start. You may upload an additional image when it helps show eye color, markings, or personality. We will let you know if more information is needed before production.
